For my do something day, I decided to take care of my niece and give my brother a little break for the day. I did some arts and crafts, taught her how to play Paddy Cake, I cooked for her, and we even made forts. I never really knew how important a little moment can be, I never realized how fast the time was going until that day. My niece is two years old, but I feel like it was only yesterday that my niece was just a new born. My niece getting big SO fast has definitely opened my eyes a lot, she walks, talks, and does a lot of things on her own now. My favorite part of my “Do something day” experience was when I gave my niece a bath and we laid down for her nap. It was truly amazing how fast she learns and captures things for herself. Right before I let her go to sleep, I turned off the light to the room and turned on the flash to my phone. I started teaching her how to count with her fingers and the shadow to the ceiling of our hands really amazed her. It truly is amazing how much one person can make you realize so many things in life. How fast it can go, how things change, and how important every single moment really is. My niece truly opened my eyes to the point where it even made me decide that it’s time for me to make huge changes to my life. It’s not always going be all fun and games, sometimes we have to stress a little more and have fun later. At the end of the day all the hard work and effort would and will be worth it.

I volunteered in my church by helping them out in a event that was for my church. I helped them pass out the food and also taking food orders. It was very fun knowing I could help them out!

To be blunt, family isn't close. Extending invites to be together over the holidays is harder than it may seem for so some. My challenge was to reach out to my mother(who would have otherwise been alone over the holidays) and ask her to be with my girlfriend and I durring over Christmas.

My friend was able to encourage me to bring out the artist in me that I once was. As a result, I have now been sketching and painting more for the past couple of months. I didn't know I was still good at art until my friend pushed me and challenged me to expose who I really am as a person. I will continue on exposing my bright art for others' happiness.

Last year my challenge was to learn a monologue as I had been out of the acting world and having babies. Well, that challenge lead me to an audition for the first time in 4 years. One year later and I have now relaunched my professional acting career and have an agent. It is a challenge to balance family, day job and my professional career, but I want me kids to know that their mom is an artist. That is her passion. My challenge this year is to make my passion more of a priority so as to inspire my kids to find their own passion and never stop pursuing it.

Saw they were having a can good sale at our local grocery store so with the help of one of the stock boys I filled the trunk of my car with fruits and vegetables and headed up to Church to deliver them to the food pantry. I plan to do this often and Josh, I will always think of you when I do.

One of Meg's college friends developed an app that reminds individuals with asthma to take their prescribed medication. The app works directly with doctors to advise them about prescription refills and provides individuals incentives (in the form of gift certificates to Starbucks, Target, etc.) for taking their medicine on time and tracking the same through the app. Meg and I are going to invest into this startup and I am going to try to provide pro bono legal assistance with respect to the company's intellectual property (patents, trademarks, etc.).

This year I started as a Youth Group Coordinator for St. Paul's church in Pilsen. The first day I met with the group of young teens I couldn't but help to feel Mr. Nemeth's presence. I aim to fulfill this role as he would have with love, dedication and sincerity. I hope that my contribution to this group of teens will foster their spiritual journey as well as help them develop valuable skills in leadership that will lead them to successful lives.
